The question is…why would you not want to come and stay at this wonderful ancient converted church B&B nestled in the heart of the Brecon Beacons national Park? This four star standard B&B has been rated 9.8 on Booking.com in 2017. The B&B location is pictured above – it’s the closest B&B due south of Pen Y Fan and is situated in the ”Welsh Lake District’ area near the Pentwyn and Pontsticill reservoirs, and is ideal for those who seek a tranquil and peaceful break in a remote location. The more active among our visitors enjoy hiking the nearby hills, or cycling along the lanes of the Brecon Beacons, or indeed mountain biking through the different terrains all around.
We are ideally situated for Bike Park Wales, the Brecon mountain railway, the waterfalls at Ystrafeldte, Blaen Y Glyn and Hendryd (The ‘Dark Night Rises’ Batcave!), and other well known attractions such as Port Yr Ogof caves, the ‘Big Pit’ mine, Penderyn distillery and the Red Kite feeding centre at Llandreussant !
Ty Taf Fechan has been seen on TV’s popular ‘Escape to the Country’ programme.
